The code of ethics serve as a guideline to help create a community where all members can enjoy a safe and rewarding TaskerApp experience. Being respectful and accountable to others are the building blocks that form the veracity of TaskerApp.

TaskerApp is founded to help promote a reliable, safe and successful environment and is here to help resolve issues should they arise. In response, we ask for your cooperation and timely response to the TaskerApp team. If you suspect a member has violated any code of ethics, please report it to TaskerApp immediately by contacting us here. This document will continue to get updated as we grow and continuously rethink about what is best for the TaskerApp community.

The code of ethics are applicable to both Taskers and Posters as follows:

TASKERS:

1. Publicly sharing private information

To uphold the integrity and validity of TaskerApp, our members can only share private contact information once an offer is accepted via private messages. To keep your safety, private contact details or 3rd party links are not allowed to be shared in any public areas of the site including any comments and attachments. This includes business websites, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, personal emails, personal websites, phone numbers and addresses.

2. Unacceptable behaviors

Community is at the heart of what we do at TaskerApp. Civility, mutual respect and seeing things from another persons perspective is essential. At TaskerApp, we do not tolerate the following negative behaviors, any of which will result in your content being removed and/or your account being suspended:

- Revulsion and violence (comments or actions which promote hate and violence, including content and behavior promoting racism are not allowed)

- Discrimination (comments which are insulting or vulgar are not accepted)

- Illegal behaviors (Behaviors including theft, vandalism, use of weapons or drugs are explicitly not allowed)

- Harassment (comments or actions which may cause distress like intimidation, torment, persistent disturbance or communication aimed to influence other members’ offers are not allowed)

- Trolling (Comments or tasks which are inappropriate, inflammatory in nature or off-topic are not allowed)

3. Unsupported practices

At TaskerApp, we are devoted to connect communities together. This nonetheless requires your support and cooperation. We do not support the following activities within our TaskerApp community, as it puts at risk the creation of a fair, transparent and reliable environment, which we greatly value.

- Fraudulent TaskerApp reviews (Creating or requesting fraudulent reviews is not embraced)

- Lead generation (Campaign posts which involve email blasts and cold calling are not solicited and should not be entertained)

- Artificially improving public profile (Falsely refining your public profile including your completion rate puts at risk the credibility of the TaskerApp system and is not acceptable)

- Garnering member information (Tasks aiming to obtain lists of contact details on TaskerApp is not an acceptable behavior)

- Discussion forum (As a service marketplace to outsource tasks, TaskerApp is not a forum for discussion. Posters and taskers only place valid comments or information related to the task)

4. Pricing and payments

To promote a safe and rewarding environment for all members of the TaskerApp community, it is vital to understand how pricing and payments work.

- Offer prices (Offers placed must be equal to the full amount per task. Offers must not be hourly, unit or quote based. Partial quotes which mention further negotiation of prices off the platform are also not supported. All costs including materials costs and purchases on behalf of the poster can be included in your offer, with the exception of tips (at your discretion).

- Accurate banking details (To ensure seamless transactions, please ensure your banking details are up to date.

5. Accountability and your reputation

When your offer is accepted, you remain accountable for the provision and outcome of the task. For tasks completed in-person, you must attend to check that the task requirements are met even if you requested other Taskers to assist with the task. Other Taskers involved in the task must have a TaskerApp account. If a third party who is not a Tasker with a TaskerApp account helps with your task, the third party is not covered by the insurance that may be applicable to Taskers on TaskerApp.

6. Account eligibility

We can tell you are excited to set up an account and get started on TaskerApp, but we need you to make sure you qualify for the below:

- 18 years or older (All members of the TaskerApp community must be 18 years or older. This is a legal requirement as people under the age of 18 are not able to enter a legal contract with TaskerApp. TaskerApp reserves the right to request proof of age should this be necessary.

- Legal working rights (All Taskers must be legally entitled to perform the task with the appropriate trade license. To maintain the highest standards in our TaskerApp community, we seek to avoid situations that may cause legal risks to any of our members.

7. Account administration

We have some vital information regarding accounts as follows:

- No duplication of accounts (TaskerApp members may only have a single, active account on the platform. As your account reflects your reputation in the marketplace and represents your skills and abilities, any duplicate accounts attempting to disguise a members history, will be removed immediately.

- No account transfers (Your account is your responsibility and you must maintain control of it. It must not be transferred to another person as your account and reviews reflect your aptitudes and skills.

8. Identity on TaskerApp

TaskerApp is dedicated to build a community platform which is safe environment for us all. This commitment is based on the principles of transparency and respect. To help foster trust in the community, TaskerApp members are required to have a profile photo and name that accurately identifies them.

Fake/miscellaneous photos & names are not permitted on the TaskerApp platform. Members that do not have an accurate profile photo or name that meets TaskerApp standards will be asked to change their details. For business entities, the company logo can be used to represent the TaskerApp member. TaskerApp profile standards include the following:

- Name (Your real name as confirmed by your identification documents (passport, drivers licence or any acceptable identification documents like Emirates ID). For companies, the trade license details can be used to verify the authenticity of the business.

o Profile photo (A clear front-on profile photo of a members face, so it’s easy recognizable by Posters. For companies, the company logo is acceptable.

POSTERS:

TaskerApp helps you get more done and tick that task off your list. To create a safe, respectful and rewarding environment, we encourage you to follow these guidelines:

- Tasks must be legal (To ensure a safe experience for all our members, all tasks posted must be legal. Soliciting, inducing or encouraging illegal acts, including scams, are strictly not allowed.)

- Prohibited items list (Tasks must not relate to unlawful activities or weapons. Any requests relating to drugs, including prescription drugs or drug paraphernalia is not acceptable.)

- No escort or adult services (Escort, adult services and massage tasks are strictly prohibited on Taskerapp. This includes comments or tasks which are obscene or sexually explicit in nature.)

- Clear scope, time and budget. These are necessary for Taskers to know if they have the skills and availability to the task.

o Scope: The task description should clearly state what it is that you need done. Adding as much information as possible helps the taskers understand expectations.

o Time: Do you require the task to be completed on a specific day and/or time or can it be flexible with the Tasker?

o Budget: Setting a fair price for the amount of time and effort required for the task is vital. Taskerapp does not endorse low pricing of tasks and a task may be moderated, if found to be.

- Task based posts (While TaskerApp encourages you to outsource a wide variety of tasks you want to get done, tasks that are deceitful in nature are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to requesting social media likes and followers, fake business reviews, asking for academic activity-based tasks, or asking someone to give a quote.)

- No advertising (While TaskerApp highly motivates business outsourcing tasks, TaskerApp does not promote business or job advertisements.

- No commission based pricing (Sales and commission based tasks are not allowed and will be moderated and/or removed. Any offers made on your task should be for the full scope of the task. When you accept an offer, which is the final amount that you are obligated to pay and there are no additional fees.

- Accurate banking details (To provide seamless transaction of funds to your Tasker, please ensure your credit or debit cards details are valid and up to date.)

- Payment with VISA or Mastercard (All tasks must be remunerated via credit or debit Mastercard or VISA card. Cash or cash equivalent payments are not supported.)

When you accept a Tasker’s offer on your task, the Tasker remains accountable for the provision and outcome of the task. For tasks completed in-person, the Tasker must attend to check that the task requirements are met even if they have requested other Taskers to assist with the task. If a third party who is not a Tasker with an TaskerApp account helps with your task, the third party is not covered by the insurance that may be applicable to Taskers on TaskerApp.

All TaskerApp members have a duty to follow to the Code of Ethics in accordance with the rules and regulations set out in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
